He was also a 2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BsvRv5gCCa4&amp;t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Upstander Award recipient<\/a>\u00a0for his commitment to LGBTQA+ youth advocacy. Coleman has spent the last year traveling the country as the cartwheeling \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B5J9IzthQAM\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unicorn Counselor<\/a>\" speaking on issues ranging from comprehensive sexual health education and counseling program design to counselor identity and engagement strategies within the school community.\u00a0 He is in his sixth year with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-IMuRORTwfM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Jones College Prep<\/a>\u00a0where he has served as Counseling Department Chair for three years. At Jones, Mr. Coleman has overseen counseling programming for seniors and freshmen, sophomore sexual health education, JCP\u2019s student mentorship program, and the school\u2019s LGBTQA+ student organization JonesPride. In the last year, he has also participated in DePaul University\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DePaulU\/status\/1120322669893828608\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here We Do<\/a>\u201d and McDonald\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B2UmalLniwb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black and Positively Golden<\/a>\u201d promotional campaigns.
